Praises/Prayer Requests for the week of August 7th

PRAISES

Zacharys - They lost their power for several hours Saturday night and a kind neighbor, gave them a power cord from his house until their power was restored.

Elmores - Our nephew, Michael, has detoxed from whatever drug he was on and has secured a full time job with benefits back home in Arkansas. He has begun to put a little weight back on and is determined to get his life back on track. We are so very grateful for God's mercy and protection for Michael during this very scary time.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Rogers - Susan is scheduled to have surgery on her shoulder on August 19th. She cannot be on any kind of pain meds until the surgery. She said the dr wants it to be inflammed when he does the surgery so he'll know exactly what to repair (oww!!!) Pray that the pain will be manageable until then and that the surgery will be a complete success.

Ingrams - Terry is trying to sell his truck. Please pray for a buyer soon.

Terrills - Allison and Steven have asked to pray for Mike Huckaby, a friend's step-dad, who suffered severe chemical burns to his eyes, nose, mouth, throat and lungs. He is in in ICU and is not doing well. Pray for comfort for Mike and his family and for God's mercy on him.
