Prayer Requests and Praises for the Week of Jan 22nd

Praises

Justin has been blessed exceedingly, abundantly by God who has allowed him to already reach 80% of his yearly sales goal for his company during the month of January. Justin gives all praise and glory to God for his provision.

Amy had asked us back in December to pray for her friends who were told their baby boy due this week would be born with some very serious heart defects and would need surgery in order to survive. Baby Jay was born yesterday and upon a thorough examination was found to have a perfectly formed heart with no defects whatsoever! Baby Jay had been covered in prayer since the initial diagnosis was made in December. Praise to our God who is still in the miracle business!!

Prayer Requests

Terry asked us to pray for Danny Hillenburg as he deals with some health issues.

John asked us to pray for he and his family as he will be traveling on business beginning on Saturday and returning on the following weekend.

Rachel Smith's dad, Don, had a stroke on Sunday and is being evaluated at St. Francis. Please pray for a full recovery for Don and for his family to have peace during his treatment.

Prayer Requests for the Week of Jan 15th

Cindy and Terry asked us to please keep the Crawford family in our prayers. Donnie Ray was killed by his grandfather in a domestic dispute and then the grandfather was subsequently killed as well. Pray for God's unexplainable peace and comfort for this grieving family as they cope with this tragedy.

Debra and John asked us to pray for Debra's cousin, Anna. Anna had been living with them and going to school in Okmulgee. She wrecked her car and has now decided to live on campus to be able to continue school but she still has no job, no car and no money. Pray for wisdom and for God to open doors of opportunity for her.

Todd and Susan's daughter, Avery, is sick with a high fever. Pray she will be fever free and feel much better soon.

Omar asked us to pray for a coworker and friend, Gary and his wife. They lost a baby that was due in a couple of weeks who was born by c-section. Pray they will cling to the Lord for comfort and that Gary's wife will heal without complications for her surgery. Also Nikki asked us to pray for her sister, Alicia, who wrecked her car right after it had been repaired.

Jason asked us to pray for the family of a coworker, Dina, who was found dead in her home this morning. Please pray for God's comfort for the Cole family.

There just seemed to be so much sorrow in this week's requests. Thank you for faithfully lifting these needs to the Father often this week. This verse in Psalm 147 seemed so appropriate.

'He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds'
Psalm 147:3

Prayer Requests for the Week of Jan 1st

Cindy asked us to pray for Logan who has a nasty cough that may be bronchitis and also that Taylor has now decided to potty train:) Pray that Logan will heal quickly and Taylor will be successful in this milestone event! Also Cindy's friend, Tara, delivered her baby 18 weeks early and the baby only lived a couple of hours. Please pray for comfort and peace for that family.

Amber's friend, Julie, is battling aggressive breast cancer that has now metastasized in her brain and spine. She may possibly be a candidate for a clinical trial but at this point they are praying for a miracle of healing.
Also Amber's cousin's father in law, Tracy, was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year. He is already in a wheelchair and the drs say it is progressing rapidly. Tracy is only in his 50's and will soon move in with Amber's cousin and his family to be able to care for him. Pray for everyone involved and for God's will for Tracy's life.

Continue to pray for Michelle as she will have another CT scan on Thursday. She has some good days and some days of real dizziness. Pray for a conclusive diagnosis and peace for her as she recovers from her head injury.

Jim and Brenda will be traveling to the Cotton Bowl on Friday. Please pray for travel safety.

'Hear O Lord my righteous plea; listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer'
Psalm 17:1
