MAKING SENSE OF FAITH: How can I move from mere knowledge of the Bible to true faith in Christ?
This week we will wrap up our study “Where Hope Lives.” What does it really mean to have faith? “Faith” is more than an intellectual acknowledgment of something. For our discussion this week, read the study beginning on page 76 of the Life Matters Learner Guide (let me know if you need a copy) and the following passages:
Romans 4:1-25;

Consider this:
Faith Is Only as Good as Its Object (Romans 4:1-3,23-25)
Faith Involves an Act of the Will (Romans 10:9-13)
Faith Is a Way of Life (Hebrews 12:1-2):
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Remember, God who created everything is still in control of His creation. Keep praying for each other, caring for each other and take care of your families. John
