DIVINE ACTION
When was the last time you were blessed or lucky enough to have an opportunity to perform an act of kindness or work of beauty? Didn't it feel good.
What does DIVINE ACTION look like in our everyday life?
1. It Begins With Common Answers (Luke 10:25-28)
2. It Moves Beyond a Common Response (Luke 10:29-32)
3. It Embraces Divine Opportunities (Luke 10:33-37)

When you read this parable of the Good Samaritan, read it as if it's the first time. Try a different version if it helps you see and hear it fresh.
Helping people is rarely convenient, but it's always Christ-like. Rather than getting caught up in the normal, hyper-speed pace of our day, we should take notice of the people around us and decide that they're important. After Jesus asked the expert in the Law if he understood who the real neighbor was, He gave one final command: "Go and do the same" (v. 37). In the original language of this verse, the verb "do" implies habitual action -- an action that should be common to all of us.
Pray that God will create a divine moment in your life and that you will be ready and willing to serve. Yes, even at this "crazy" time of the year. This Christmas, move beyond the common response.
Remember, God who created everything is still in control of His creation. Keep praying for each other, caring for each other and take care of your families. John
