DIVINE APPOINTMENT:
How should I respond when divine moments present themselves?
Learning to live a life of “going and telling” is the way of the church, and it always has been. It’s the greatest, scariest, and most exciting life all at once. The missional nature of the church, and for individual believers, is to seize every service opportunity as the moments present themselves. Some moments will open up for you to share your story, others will be opportunities to serve, while others may be simply to offer an encouraging word. Not sure what to do? Just trust the Spirit, who’s moving in and around you, to point you in the right direction. There will be divine appointments created for you every day. But how will you respond?
Living as a Christian means entering into the great story of God’s mission in the world. Each of us has the opportunity to join God’s work of reconciling the world to Himself. As you face the end of one year and the beginning of another, resolve now to join Jesus in all of His mercy-filled intentions for the people of this world.
