The Roads Less Traveled:
A LIFESTYLE OF SERVICE

Why do we isolate ourselves from pain and poverty? Why do we elevate comfort and wealth above serving people in need? Jesus makes it clear that we don’t have the option to leave the tough, uncomfortable, and risky jobs to someone else. If we’re going to call ourselves followers of Jesus, we’re going to need to look like Him — and He spent His days on earth with the diseased, despised, and rejected people of His society.
How can I develop a lifestyle of service?

1. Set your standards and values by God’s Word, not the world’s (Mark 10:42-45).
2. Seize Your Opportunities (Matthew 25:19-21, 29).
3. Serve the Least of These (Matthew 25:34-40).
If we’re seeking true greatness, we’ll only find it through embracing a lifestyle of service.
Remember, God who created everything is still in control of His creation. Keep praying for each other, caring for each other and take care of your families. John
