THE ROADS LESS TRAVELLED
Following our study from last week, "Community," and as you start out the new year, I encourage you to continue to build community. One place to start is within your Care Group. Make a point to call those in your group and get together outside of Sunday morning. Remember, God's plan for believers is that they grow in their faith through interactions and involvement with other believers. Ephesians 4:1-32
This week our study is "A Lifestyle of Humility."
Read: Luke 14:1-11, John 13:1-17 and Philippians 2:1-11
What is humility? Is it feeble, delicate, passive and weak? Or is it bridled power?
When was the last time you encountered real, Christlike humility?
What stuck out to you about the encounter?
How eager is the typical Christian to be humble?
What are some examples in our culture of attitudes we mistake for humility?
Jesus challenged us to follow selfless humility as the road less traveled. Through committing to a lifestyle of Christlike humility, we'll find ourselves looking more and more like Jesus.
Remember, God who created everything is still in control of His creation. Keep praying for each other, caring for each other and take care of your families. John
